Queen of Hearts Costume

I decided to go with the queen of hearts from Alice in Wonderland for halloween this year. I purchased my costume for only 23 dollars off of amazon, people couldn't believe it! I didn't like the look of the queen from Tim Burton's version so decided to to Google different looks I could go with. I decided to go with a red sparkle eye with black in the crease. It took a lot of trial and error to pull off the look but managed to find the perfect way. I used sally girl adhesive gel that you can get at any sally beauty store for 99 cent and fine red glitter from Wal-Mart. To create the look you apply a light layer of the sally gel on your eye lid and then use the same brush to dap glitter on top. I did the same thing for my heart lips and heart under my eye. I also created my own crown that I simply made from a styrofoam cup by cutting the top into points and spray painted gold. I love halloween and this is by far my favorite costume I've ever done!
