This homemade costume for women entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Antonia, the 'Queen of Hearts' costume creator:
I (Antonia Sawyer) am wearing this hand made Queen of Hearts costume. Inspiration came from Tim Burton's film "Alice in Wonderland". I used all second hand fabrics to create this custom costume as well as the crown and septer. I hand cut curtains for the cuffs, tore up panels to create the skirt and then used old dresses to create the corset and cape. I used super glue for 100% of the adhering and hand shaped the roses on the sleeves. Overall cost was approximately $70.00
