Twin Minions Costume

Three year old twin brothers Jack and William as Minions. Jack is the yellow Minion and William is the purple Minion. I, their mother made these costumes out of foam, felt, and a lot of hot glue. No sowing was needed.

I purchased a twin sized foam mattress and cut in half to use for the frame of each minion. I cut out wedges from the top of the minion so it could be glued together to form a dome on top. I cut out holes for the mouth to create a place for them to see. I created teeth out of extra foam. Once the frame was put together I sprayed painted each minion. I used thick black elastic and mason jar lids to create the eyes/goggles. I then used felt to create overalls for each minion. And last but not least I use pipe cleaner for the yellow minions hair and a purple boa for the purple minions hair.

The boys love, love, love their costumes. They came to around $35 a piece.
