Baby Jack and The "Black Pearl" Costume

My 6 month old son, Kai is baby Jack Sparrow. As huge Johnny Depo fans we choose something from one of his movies. The " Black Pearl" took over 3 weeks to make. You are able to take it off of the jogging stroller fo easy transportation to many trick or treating events :) It is made out of cardboard, tons of hot glue, and spray paint. The mast is made out of a cardboard tube, string, rolled up fabric, and rods. The helm is made out of cardboard and clothes pins. The items for Baby Jack Sparrows costume were mainly found at our local thrift store. Baby Jacks wig was made on a baby hat. The hair was found at the dollar tree, along with the hair ties, and string. Beads were purchased from our local craft store. The bolts were found laying around the house. Baby Jacks wig took about 3 days to make, his costume took about a day. Total cost for the "Black Pearl" and Costume was about $30
