This homemade costume for babies entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.

A bug costume with a lighted tail.
We were visiting friends up north when the kids saw lightning bugs for the first time and have been fans ever since.
I made this costume with a sleeveless black jacket.
I wanted a pretty costume so I added gold flowers to the front. There is a green tutu underneath.
The head is a beanie with ping pong balls on wire and shampoo lid eyes.
The tail is a 2liter bottle with glow sticks inside.
