Guardians of the Galaxy Groot Costume

My 10 year old son loves guardians of the galaxy & wanted to try to make Groot. I thought it would be easy, but I was wrong! Lol. We started with a sweatshirt & pants then went to work covering it with pipe insulation foam. The mask was from a foam mat that mechanics lay on. Once we finished glueing everything on with about 4 diff kinds of glue we wrapped some tissue paper & glue around for texture. We covered tennis shoes & gloves in duct tape. To finish it off, we spray painted it with brown, tan, green, & black. He was a big hit! Everyone wanted pics with him 😎
