Let Them Eat Cake Costume

11 year old Aurora is Marie Antionette, saying "let them eat cake!". The costume is made with a mannequin torso fitted with backpack straps. The dress is fitted onto the mannequin and the skirts hand from a period pannier cage, allowing Aurora to wear comfortable clothes and have plenty of room underneath. Hand holes in the skirt allow her to eat, truck or treat, and hand out candy at a charity event. A Marie wig complete with bird nests and butterflies and the basket to catch her head ties the costume together. Happy Halloween!
