This homemade costume for girls entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Sarah, the 'Madame Leota' costume creator:
My daughter, Lyric, as Madame Leota from The Haunted Mansion ride at Disneyland. To make this I used 2 sheets of foam board taped together to make the table top covered with black velvet and red fringed material. I used a 14" acrylic globe with airholes on sides and top to make the crystal ball I glued blue led lights around the edge for a glowing effect. I also glued a battery operated candlestick with a flickering bulb and Haunted Mansion themed tarrot cards to the tabletop.
