This homemade costume for girls entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Scarlett, the 'Vampire State Building' costume creator:
My 5 year old daughter, Scarlett, was asking me about the Empire State Building but accidentally called it the vampire state building. After a little laugh she said that it would be cooler if it was the Vampire state building. Then she asked if she could be that for Halloween. I made the building and she helped decorate it with spider webs and google eyes and blood. We used glow sticks to light the building and added a cape for the full vampire effect. Everyone loved the costume, especially Scarlett
