This homemade costume for boys entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Doug, the 'Dillon's F-35' costume creator:
I'm a volunteer builder for Magic Wheelchair. We build epic costumes for kids in wheelchairs.
Dillon asked for a jet, so my team built him an F-35.
The build took about two months and the main material is sintra.
We revealed the costume to Dillon at Wright Patterson Air Force Base with a crowd that included a one star General. Dillon is a quadruple take his siblings were his ground crew. An F-16 pilot also presented him with a challenge coin.
