Corona & Lime Homemade Couple Costume

My costume is my boyfriend and I. I am a Corona and he is the lime! The idea came from us looking for a couples costume that we could make, that would be funny and original. I used a yellow dress, printed out the corona label on transfer paper, and then ironed it on to white fabric. I then used double-sided tape to attach it to my dress. I hot glued the white stuffing onto the top to look like beer foam. To make the hat, I used a Styrofoam circle, painted it yellow, and chipped the edges to make it look like a beer cap. I then hot glued a headband to it and attached the corona label. For the lime, we cut a lime green blanket, used cardboard and stuffing, and sewed it to have the lime shape. We then attached dark green felt, and used white out to draw the lines, and then used a glow in the dark paint over top so it would glow! To finish, we used a satin band to make the lime wearable.
