Killer Carrying Half of His Victim Costume

I saw a picture of a similar costume last year, but there were no directions. I bought a dress from Goodwill, and shredded the bottom of it. I cut the entire width of the dress back from shoulder to shoulder, so I could get my arms and head in it, but both the front and back of the dress hung in front of me. I stuffed a pillow case and pinned it to the inside of the dress in front of me.

We used a heavy duty tie wrap to attach the head to a backpack, then put a t-shirt on it. I used my husband's zip up hoodie, sewed gloves to the sleeves, and stuffed them. I then laid the open hoodie on a table, placed the dummy in it, and sewed the t-shirt to the hoodie. Then I sewed the dress to the t-shirt and hoodie, and used velcro to attach the gloves to the hoodie to make it appear to be carrying the body.

Everything was attached to everything else. I had to lift the entire thing up,and come up between the dress and the hoodie, putting my arms and head in the dress. Then I zipped the hoodie around my waist and attached the gloves to their place with the velcro.

It was a lot of trial and error, and after I got it on, I learned to walk with my shoulders and head slumped forward, it was realistic looking. I added some makeup to look bruised and cut and I think it turned out great.
