Toy Story Woody Costume

I made this costume because every year I create a new costume from scratch and show up to my grandmother's house on halloween for everyone to see what this year's creation is. I have little cousins and I knew that they would know who woody is and I just wanted to see them get excited when they saw me. I made this costume completely one hundred percent from scratch. The head is made from a cardboard tube concrete form from the hardware store and it is covered in fleece fabric. The ears and nose are made from shaped foam balls and also covered in fleece. The hat is made from cardboard pieces put together and covered in fleece. The shirt is from the salvation army, the vest I made from scratch out of cow hide patterned fabric, and the boots were my dad's from when he was younger. I make a new costume every year to see the smile on all my family's faces when they see me show up on Halloween and if nothing else I hope that this gives a smile to whoever sees this entry.
