Baby Mutant Ninja Turtle Costume

My husband Tim loved the Ninja Turtles and was Leonardo when he was a kid. My son, Oliver, is two months old and we didn't find a costume that we like for babies so I decided to make one! Oliver is wearing a green footie that we already had and then I used fabric to make the shell, belts and headband. The swords are cardboard painted black and covered in foil. The L I his waist belt is painted cardboard. I'm a photographer and I can say this photo shoot was serious work! Ha! Oliver was such a good sport and he sure is the cutest baby turtle! Making this saved me a lot of money! I already had a lot of the materials and spent about $10 on fabric.
