Boo Monsters Inc. Costume

My 2 year old granddaughter gets told she looks like boo from monsters inc all the time she we figured why not make her that for Halloween..we purchase 3 yards of shiny purple material some batting to give it puffiness, cut in to the shape of a large mans tank top sewed a front and back section separate then sewed those together leaving arm hole on the side , for the arms I didn’t want sleeves because it’s not really cool here on Halloween so we just sewed the (baby blanket material) in the shape of a tentacle and attached to the top of the sleeves I the kinda just hang and she doesn’t have to wear them on her arms, for the head we took 2 large mixing bowls and cut the bottom out of the bottom one attached them together like a clam shell just using duck tape hot glued a baseball cap backwards inside to hold the bowls in place on her head covered with fabric , used yarn for the hair , and poked a wire with gray beads in the head for the eyes used styrofoam balls painted the back gray added a pipe cleaner to make it look like eye lids and painted black circles for eyeballs .. how no idea what it was gonna look like when finished but I love how it turned out ... total cost under $20
