Chicken Little Costume

My daughter is obsessed with the chickens at her grandparents house, So I knew that I wanted to make her a chicken for Halloween. I did a little internet searching and of course found the perfect chicken costume on Pinterest, instructions and all. It was very easy to make, I stuck two long sleeved onsies inside of each other, filled with batting between the two and stitched loosely around the head/leg area to keep the batting in. Then I took 5 feathered boa's and snaked them around the torso of the onsies putting in a small stitch to hold it in place every 3-5 inches. I dyed a pair of tights and found a pilots cap to stitch a felt rooster comb to. The shoes were made from size small kitchen gloves also stuffed with batting and stretched around a pair of her own shoes.
