Cinderella in her Carriage Costume

This is Cinderella in her Carriage on the way to the Ball. This is our 20 month old daughter inside the carriage dressed as Cinderella in a costume made by her grandmother. The movie is a favorite of our daughters, as is a set of little people toys she plays with constantly. I thought it would be cool to build her a life size one to ride in. I had attempted with little success to train out two Australian shepherds to tow the carriage, with little success. The carriage was handmade by me (Dad) out of scrap steel left over from a fencing project, 10 GA wire fencing material, and Thule. The Seat is actually an expired child safety seat that I cut down to size and with assistance from grandma, covered with felt and Thule to disguise the seat. There are 350 LED lights from 14 battery powered strings (Thanks Walmart) that light up the carriage at night. Photos were taken outside an independent living facility my grandmother (our Daughters great Grandmother) lives in near out house.
