This homemade costume for babies entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Christina, the 'Lil' Gizmo' costume creator:
I searched the web for days/weeks and could not find a pre-made Gizmo costume for an infant. Not even a pattern to make one yourself. So I took matters into my own hands and made it myself!! I was determined because I figured the idea was unique and too cute. So, I bought some furry fabric and through trial and error, made the outfit to fit my 3 month old son. The ears were the toughest part but I think the cutest of all. A little cardboard, paint, fabric, and pantyhose!! He was the talk of the town throughout the neighborhood.
Don't worry, I was a good mamma and did not keep him out past midnight or get him wet!!!
