Man in the Yellow Hat Costume

These are my sons as Curious George and The Man in the Yellow Hat. I dyed the white shirt and pants yellow for my son's costume. The hat was a foam construction hat from Michaels. We cut a hole in the middle and put a styrofoam cone through the hole. We cut the cone until it was the right shape and covered it with yellow felt. The brim of the hat was made with cardboard, covered in felt, and hot glued on. For the boots, we used brown women's socks and put them on over his shoes.
