Parrot Baby Costume

My son, Ethan, is wearing a mostly home-made parrot costume. We have had an ongoing theme since before he was born that revolved around pirates. Instead of dressing him up as a pirate though, we decided to dress him up as a parrot and we (parents) would dress up as the pirates. His costume was created by using a red onesie, red tights, and a red cap. His wing & tail feathers are made from different colored felt cut into feather shaped pieces. There is elastic sewn to wrap around the shoulders/back and his wrists. The tail feathers use safety pins to pin on his rear end. His hat has a felt beak and eyes glued on.
