Rosie the Riveter Costume

My daughter, Vivienne is wearing this costume. I got the idea to make a costume representing this iconic American symbol soon after finding out that I was having a girl. It was a pretty simple costume to construct. I had a one piece denim outfit, I sewed a "Rosie" name patch on, then sewed a piece of polka dotted material to make the headwrap. The sign behind was made using poster paper from CVS. I punched out and glued the letters onto another piece of poster paper, then cut that into a talk bubble and glued it to the first sheet.
