Scuba Divers Costume

Our 16 month old son Kam and our 9 year old boxer Lady are wearing their "scuba" gear and all ready for our projected rainy & wet trick or treat. I used empty one liter soda bottles for "air tanks" which I spray painted with bright paint and then added detail with black electrical tape. For Kam I purchased a cheap mini backpack and hot glued the bottles to it. For Lady I purchased a black dog t-shirt as her "wetsuit" and glued the bottles to it and then added a strip of electrical tape. To make Kam's "regulator" I took one of his binky's that had two holes the front and attached a piece of black fish tank tubing then attached the opposite end to the air tank. For Kam's "wetsuit" I used a black turtleneck and black leggings for a snug fit that mimicked a wetsuit look. Added masks and tada - a super cute scuba diving team! Both costumes were very easy to make and the supplies were inexpensive. A little creativity and you have a unique one of a kind costume!
