This homemade costume for boys entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Jessica, the 'Astronaut' costume creator:
My 7 year old son wanted to be an astronaut. I could not find a costume in the stores for anything and the ones online were close to $50. After a little bit of googling and thrift store shopping I was able to make this costume out of duct tape. The entire thing is covered in white or silver duct tape with the patches being printed pictures from the interent. The backpack is an old box and I found a $5 helmet at a toy store.
