This homemade costume for boys entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Robin, the 'Backhoe' costume creator:
My three year old son Jack decided this year he wanted to be a backhoe for Halloween. My husband made the costume with moving boxes for the body, foam core and poster board for the diggers and cookie tins for the wheels. Butterfly clips hold the top and bottom together making it removable in case the little one didn't want his head covered. The body part rests I his shoulders with straps.
