Black Angry Bird Bomb Costume

My 3 year old grandson is obsessed with Angry Birds and his favorite one is the black bomb. So, of course, when I asked him what costume he wanted me to make for him this year, he said, "A black Angry Bird, Grandma!" I looked on the Internet for pictures of Angry Birds, as I wasn't too familiar with them. I bought some felt, measured his body for size and cut out some patterns from newspaper. When I decided it was just right, I cut the pattern out and decorated it to look like the ones on the Internet. He was thrilled when he saw it and he went "crazy" when I put it on him. He actually "turned into the black bomb
as he went around banging into people and things, pretending to explode! I purchased a black ski cap at the dollar store and made a felt "fuse" which I sewed onto the hat. I bought him black sweatpants and a black turtleneck at a thrift store and his costume was complete!
