Edward Scissorhands Child Costume

My 8 year old son Sebastian is wearing his Edward Scissorhands costume. I purchased pleather fabric from Hobby Lobby to make the belt looking pieces. I crimped on rivet pieces and glue gunned on additional metal pieces to mimmick the look of Edward's clothing. The scissor hands are made of chrome colored plastic pic nic wear that I clipped the sharp edges off and glue gunned together to make scissors. The scissor handles are made of the cardboard tops of dollar store take out containers. His makeup is my own foundation, purple matte eyeshadow around the eyes and at the shallows of the cheeks. Elmers glue stick to make the scars, let it dry before applying more makeup on top. Hairspray, flat iron and black spray hair dye for the hair.
