Guardians of the Galaxy Groot Costume

HAND MADE COSTUME, My son Nicolas just love and wanted the costume of Groot (the tree from Guardians of the galaxy), we couldn't find a nice one online, he then said make it for me mom! No mom can resist making his kids wishes come true, I have done hand made stuff for him in the past, but this one was a big challenge, didn't come out too bad right? Many many compliments in the big Halloween event in our town.

went to the fabric store and found this kind of crafts fabric, challenging the part when I realized It wasn't elastic so it would be hard to move or sit down so finally came to the conclusion to cut along long pieces and hot glue it to a one piece he already had..the head piece I got the idea from a Youtube video and traced it by hand similar to it, glue it to a piece of poster board, open the eyes and painted some parts and did the mouth with paint as well, hold it in place with pieces of wool, same as some added to the body to give the nature impression. My boy was very satisfied! Hard white cardboard for the "I am Groot" to look like the comic books last minute thought! Investment $10
