Guardians of the Galaxy Groot Costume

My 11 year old son, Lucas, is wearing this costume. This was custom made for him, by me. This costume took approximately 30 hours to make and is made of a few different materials including various sizes of pipe insulation for the body and foam floor tiles for the "bark" and mask. This costume is based on the character, Groot, from Guardians of the Galaxy. If you wanted to make this costume, you would need a pair of pants that fit the costume wearer and a slightly Oversized long-sleeved shirt. Then, using various sizes of pipe insulation, you begin to hot glue the pieces on to the shirt and pants in any pattern you would like. Then use a dremel to give texture to the foam. Next, you make your bark using floor foam tiles and using the dremel again for texture. Then, you paint! For the mask, you form the foam tile around the costume weather's head and use a dremel to shape and carve the face! That's It!
