This homemade costume for boys entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Anita, the 'IRS Agent' costume creator:
Here's an easy Halloween costume for a kid with a suit already hanging in his closet: make him an IRS agent! All it takes is a briefcase of fake money, a mocked-up ID badge, some shades, and of course, a steely attitude.
Total cost: less than $10. I spent maybe half an hour making and laminating the ID badge and the briefcase label.
My son had a blast in this getup. "You're the scariest kid I've seen tonight!" laughed one man. "Have some more candy!" Another (inebriated) adult mistook him for the real thing and ran off into the night.
