This homemade costume for boys entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Valerie, the 'Martian Ambassador' costume creator:
My 9 year old son is the Martian Ambassador from "Mars Attacks." We love Tim Burton films. I used a leotard that I dyed martian green, made he cape out of a red satin and trimmed in gold braid, the eyes are ping pong balls, and found a Mars Attacks ray gun on ebay.
