This homemade costume for boys entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from John, the 'Minecraft Chicken' costume creator:
My youngest son (7 yrs old) is in love with all things Minecraft. When he was asked what he wanted to be for Halloween, Minecraft chicken was his answer. So after studying some pictures of this chicken, I decided we could make that. We started with some regular cardboard, lots of hot glue, used white contact paper and spray paint. Added cardboard wings. The chicken's comb (red thing on top of it's head) opens up so that the trick-or-treat candy can be placed inside. He wore yellow leggings for the chicken's legs, and chicken feet slippers.
