Ninja Turtle Costume

After making a few costume i notice i had a talent. My son has autism so i try to make his life as great as possible. My son loves Halloween so for the past 2 years I've asked him what he wants to be and i make it. This year 2014 he wanted to be a ninja turtle. I stared by making the shell. I used eva foam for the most part and foamy to give it the shell look. I used a soldering gun to give it the turtle shell look. Instead of making a muscle suit i bought a used muscle suit costume than added the turtle muscles. I used latex to paint the suit green. I added the red clothe to the suit so we know what turtle he is (Rafael). I used some of my sons old shoes to make the turtle feet out of foamy then painted them with latex. I love latex cause it gives it a rubbery feel and looks nice. My son is sensitive to mask so decided just paint him green and do a small mask to cover his eyes. All and all he was a hit at school.
