A word from Chris, the 'Resistance Trooper' costume creator:
My son Connor wanted to be a soldier with a bazooka. We settled on a Star Wars resistance trooper from The Force Awakens. We only had an action figure and a single screen shot to go by. The helmet was made from a toy police helmet and EVA foam was added to make the flip down mandible. The it was painted and weathered. The eye shield is from a pair of yellow safety glasses. The jacket I found on line for about $13 dollars. The pants were tan wrangler cargo paints and they were dyed brown. The web gear is actual Vietnam ear military gear and a metal buckle was added. The bazooka started as a toy that did not look very good. It was cut apart and length was added by making a tube out of EVA foam. There are pieces of wood, additional foam and the back cone is a glade air fresher. The top scope is a Nerf item and the side scope is made from PVC and a funnel. Details were added and then it was painted. The orange tip is a toilet seal. I was able to preserve the lights and sound that the toy came with and the Nerf laser lights up also.
