This homemade costume for boys entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Melissa, the 'Rocket Raccoon' costume creator:
My son Jalen wanted to be Rocket Raccoon from Guardians of the Galaxy this year, and I was up for the challenge.
I molded the mouth and teeth out of Sculpey clay and attached it to the mask with elastic so it moves up and down with his own jaw.
I sewed the outfit with orange fabric, and fun foam and I purchased a lot of faux fur for this one, and will still be vacuuming it up for weeks! It came out great, and he loved showing it off!
