Skylander Tree Rex Costume

My almost 5-yr old is wearing the costume. He's obsessed with Skylanders and wanted to be Tree Rex, but we didn't really like the store-bought options. His costume is entirely handmade with the exception of the gloves (which we purchased on Amazon), the boot coverings (part of an old pirate costume), and the clothes underneath. The rest was made with a collection of old cardboard, empty yogurt containers and boxes we had. I used a paper maché process to create the shapes/structures and then painted them with acrylic paint. The top of the head was created on top of an old bicycle helmet so he could strap it in place. The eyes were made from old plastic Easter eggs and had a battery LED in each so that they'd light up (like the toys do). He loved it and collected candy in the bottom jaw (which was an old box)!
