Patrick as Wall-e

This homemade costume for boys entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Danielle, the 'Wall-E' costume creator:
Wall-e was worn by Patrick Warner and he rolled through Halloween collecting his candy :) Being his favorite movie he wanted to not only look like Wall-e but move and sound like him. He started with a bog box, painted and used silver duct tape for the body. It was then put over his Razor Crazy Car so he could now give movement and spinning to Wall-e. Cut pool noodles in half and with Gorilla Tape attached them to a piece of flat foam for the treads - spray painted them black and then used cut out stencils for the treads inside gears. The box had a small hole large enough for the pool noodle to be inserted to keep them attached yet "free moving". Patrick wore his bike helmet and we used a shoe box attached by zip ties with a foam board cut out of Wall-e eyes and construction paper eyebrows. Then he cut out the pupils and inserted little black round speakers - the cord ran down the back and he attached it to his iphone playing "Put on your Sunday clothes". While he trick or treated he pulled along a homemade mylar balloon of Eve
