80's Let's Dance! Barbie and Ken Costume

We made these out of U-haul wardrobe boxes. We first tried spray painting them pink, but it was using way too much paint and the U-haul letters were showing through. So, we went with plan B and covered them in paper using spray adhesive for it to stick. We made slits for straps to wear these as backpacks. We bought the plastic sheets for the front at an art store, with a little hole in the bottom for people to squeeze our arms since we are "talking" Barbie and Ken who say things like, "I love to dance" and "Dancing is so much fun." I downloaded Barbie font for free online and printed out the letters and cut out each one and glued it with spray adhesive. This was very time consuming, but so much fun and worth all the hours of work!
