Beetlejuice and Miss Argentina Costume

The theme for the party was movie characters. My husband and I have always loved the movie Beetlejuice. We bought a costume for my husband from a local store and my daughter did his make up and I found an old wig and added paint to it to look like Beetlejuice's hair. I ordered my dress off ebay. Paired it with green hose and old shoes I had at home. I made the sash with a 4 inch ribbon and letter stickers. I used my daughters old Little Mermaid wig and set it with curls after I cut it. I used a hanger to form the cape and sewed on pink diamond tulle fabric. I took green roll on paint and painted my chest, face and arms (it took three days for all the paint to be washed out of my skin). I bought knife cut plastic appliques and glued them to my wrists.
