Hades and Hercules Costume

This year I chose to be a Female version of Hades from the Disney movie Hercules. I dressed my husband up as Disney Hercules himself so it would be a Hero and Villian effect. I always try to make sure I push the boundaries on Halloween and I have always been fascinated by Greek Mythology even our wedding was done in an ancient Greece theme. So choosing Hades and Hercules was a no brainer for me.
I made my costume from material and felt which was pretty inexpensive at the fabric store. My total cost for my costume came to about 30 dollars. I even cut and styled and constructed my wig out of two different colored hair pieces to resemble flames.My skin was colored in eyeshadow to give me the blue grey coloring
My husband's Hercules costume was made out of an old skirt lining for his cape and foam for his armor and gold rope string for the details and gold buttons found in various places like Goodwill and Wal-Mart. His costume was also about 30 dollars for everything.
We were the only Hades and Hercules at the Casino Costume party we went to and if there are no duplicates I feel I chose our costumes right!
