This homemade costume for couples entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Angel, the 'Oscar Award Winner and Oscar Trophy' costume creator:
My boyfriend, Justin, and I (Angel) typically choose are costumes by playing off my short stature, me being the Oscar trophy and he being the Oscar winner. When it comes to Halloween, we always attempt to make good use of my size as I am little person/dwarf and he is average size. While it was difficult to find a gold body suit in my size, it wasn't anything a can of gold spray paint couldn't fix. Our friends often joke he looks like Zach Galifianakis, and we channeled ZG's 2012 Oscar look (although, his beard is a little longer here). So, here we are Halloween 2014. We celebrated the night with 106.9 The Eagle at B&A Warehouse in Birmingham, AL, winning the Comedy Club funniest costume award!
