This homemade costume for couples entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Bruce, the 'The 12th Doctor and Clara' costume creator:
My wife and I were Clara (also her real name!) and the 12th Doctor. We designed and made our costumes including "aging" me and built the Tardis from scratch with foam panels and put it on wheels so it could be easily moved down the Pearl St. Mall in Boulder. It included lights, sound effects and music from the show.
We would spin the Tardis and step out to greet the gathering crowd. Whovians ran to us for photos and we met incarnations of the Doctor who posed with the Tardis. A few die hard fans told us we "made their lives". What a trip.
