This homemade costume for families entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest,
A word from Christy, the 'Family Trophy Shelf' costume creator:
We always try to come up with a unique family costume and this year my 12-year-old suggested we dress as trophies. We found some inspiration online and customized it to our interests. Then we found old athletic clothes and equipment, spray painted them gold, covered milk cartons with black trash bags and custom signs, and painted our hair and exposed skin gold and voila! our family trophy shelf.
