Gru and Crew Despicable Me 2 Family Costume

With the recent release of Despicable Me 2, our family decided to have a Minion theme this year. My son wanted to be Gru and my 3 daughters each decided on being Minions. We thought a purple minion was fitting for our youngest daughter, and that it would add a bit of variety to our group! The minion costumes were constructed from cardboard tubes, camping mats, fleece, and a lot of hot glue! We were a hit in the neighborhood and the other trick-or-treaters enjoyed seeing the popular characters on the street!
