This homemade costume for families entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Mark, the 'Gruffalo Characters' costume creator:
Characters from the children's book The Gruffalo. Miles Riley age 4 is The Gruffalo. Mallory Riley age 2 is the Big Bad Mouse. Katie Riley is the Owl. Mark Riley is the Fox. Character heads were made with foam board insulation, glued together and carved, then covered with felt or fleece. Coustumes were put together using hot glue. Each cost around $20.00 to make with foam, fabric, and glue.
