This homemade costume for families entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Andi, the 'Mary Poppins & Bert' costume creator:
Mary Poppins is semi homemade. We purchased a "southern bell" costume but re did all the ribbon and lace to red and transformed it into Mary's Jolly Holiday dress. The hat is an Easter bonet with tulle and ribbon added for the Mary Poppins look. Her parasol was bought online and we added red ribbons.
Bert was very easy to create. Purchased the jacket, hate, bow tie and cane on line. Threw it together it's a white dress shirt, khakis and shoes. It was a huge hit!
