This homemade costume for families entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.

Our 5 year-old loves Merida character from the movie "Brave". We ordered her dress from esty. Her wig and bow+ arrows from Amazon.
We surprised her by dressing up as Merida's parents. Her little sister dressed up as a little bear
Queen costume: I bought and green dress from Amazon
King costume: his skirt was actually a piece of material. Total cost for his costume was 15 dollars
Baby bear: costume was from Amazon
We had a lot of fun. We went to the mall and almost everyone recognized we are a "royal" family
