This homemade costume for families entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Vanessa, the 'Pirates' costume creator:
We ARRRR pirates! I, the mother, found my top, the dad's top and bottoms, the boy's top and bottoms and daughters top at the Goodwill! I made my husbands vest from a curtain panel I found at the Goodwill. My skirt and boots I already owned, along with my daughter's boots and leggings. We purchased her hat and my corset on Amazon. Other accessories were purchased at Savers. I painted the background in the second picture!
