This homemade costume for families entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Karen, the 'Queen of Hearts and Mad Skeletons' costume creator:
I needed a cheap easy costume for the whole family so I came up with this idea. Having all boys I needed to make it cool so why not turn them I to skeleton cards. All of these costumes are homemade by me. The cards were easy we just got foam board and burned the edges put some numbers and hearts and they were finished! The mad hatter was a little more time consuming I tried to get down every detail from the spools of thread to the ribbons. I also made the hat I was thrilled with the way it turned out!
