This homemade costume for families entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Emily, the 'The X-Men' costume creator:
This is our family! My husband and I are Wolverine and Rogue. My son is Cyclops. My two daughters are storm and Phoenix and my special girl is Professor X. I pieced the costumes together for the kids from the thrift store and using plain colored basics and adding patches and making belts etc. I ordered my suit and got the jacket at the thrift store. I love costumes where my daughter’s wheelchair is actually an asset! Usually we try to transform it, but this year we didn’t have to. It was perfect! I love Halloween and I love theme costumes! As long as the kids are into it, I will continue to make awesome memories!
