This homemade costume for families entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Katherine, the 'Top Gun Family' costume creator:
My favorite movie as a child and even now is TOP GUN. So much so, that we decided to use the theme song in our wedding. What better way to introduce our child to than to have him be Maverick himself. My husband and I built his plane, the F14 Tomcat out of wire mesh and fiberglass. Of course we had to have "Goose" as his co-pilot. My husband is dressed as "Viper", another character, and I am his "crew chief" directing his plane on the runway. We had so much fun with this, and it is a big hit at the local fall festivals. We've had to stop for pictures every where we go. :)
